Last Friday night, OPH played Villa Grove for Palestine’s Homecoming game. Although OPH came up short with a score of 14-24, Oblong seniors Connor Potts and Diego Lliteras scored two touchdowns, followed by two field goals for OPH. OPH also had a couple setbacks during the game with at least two injuries, including quarterback Evan Newlin and running back/linebacker Logan Scott. They will take the turf two more times this season, so don’t miss out on this new team!
