Palestine Laverton Park is a hot spot mostly only one time a year and that is Labor Day weekend. However, this doesn’t have to be the case. In a small town it is nice to have a good place for kids or even adults to gather and enjoy the simple outdoors.

The Williams Family, the ones who take care of the park, are trying to get some ideas on how to improve the park to make it more enjoyable for the people of Palestine. They are open to many options but here are the options they put on their Facebook poll:

Pickle Ball Court

Tennis Court

Update Mini Golf Course

Sensory Garden

Permanent Corn Hole Boards

Frisbee Golf

Dog Park

If you go the Palestine Illinois Current Events Facebook page, you can scroll to find the post about the improvements and put your thoughts and suggestions in the comments.

Just remember they are only trying to make our small town a better place.
