OPH Boys Basketball Tournament In Dugger

OPH Boys basketball played in an amazing, nail biting, tournament in Dugger over the weekend of February 4th, They first played Martinsville, which was a really good game, we fell short of just a few points, but considering Martinsville defeated us by almost 30 points the first time we played them, we are all so proud of them for sticking it out the entire game.

Next OPH played Dugger, and if you have been to any of these games against Dugger you know it’s a tough one. Dugger is rough. With the mix of bad temper, bad sportsmanship, and the behavior of other teams and fans, it’s hard to keep your spirits up but our boys did it and fought to the last second, although we fell short of a few points again we played so so hard.

Some highlights of the Dugger game would have to be watching starting player Devin Lawyer number 23 get called on for a personal foul against a Dugger player ,whose name we will keep anonymous, as he quite literally threw Lawyer to the ground in a jump ball simply for the fact that the Dugger player was unhappy with his own mistakes. Luckily the Dugger player got called on for a technical.
