On December 16, Palestine High School will host a winter send off / Zap day. This is a day to relax and unwind while having fun, and in the afternoon the students will play games, socialize, and take a mental break. This should be a fun and good way to get students to keep up on their homework.

Students with failing grades and missing assignments will be working in the classroom to complete these, and also they will have to do homework to get past a failing grade. Passing is very important in high school; this is why we have these days to hopefully motivate students to get their homework done.
