On November 10th, 2022, the PHS History Club invites all veterans and their families to a luncheon, presentation, and performance from  PHS students at the PHS high school gym at 10:30 am.

Ms. Cutright will begin the program by welcoming the veterans. Shara Coffman will give a history of Veterans Day before Ms. Cutright introduces the veterans in attendance.

Next, the PGS choir will perform “The Star Spangled Banner”, and “Hero,” Zoey Rinesmith will recite her VOD essay, and the band will perform “Patriot Bits and Pieces” and a “Veterans Day Parade.”

Afterwards, Zoey Rinesmith will perform “Ragged Old Flag” by Johnny Cash.  Breyleigh Nelson, Manny Bantican, Madison Shaw, Autumn Taylor, Peyton Pittenger, Addison McNair, and Dannika Fulling will explain why they think veterans are important.

Finally, Chief Beesing will perform “God Bless The USA” and Ms. Cutright will end the program with some closing remarks.

Lunch will be served for our veterans, along with their spouse and student(s). Lunch was donated by the class of 2022 and will be prepared by the students in Mrs. Inboden’s FCS class.

We thank all of the veterans for their service and hope to see you and your families there.
