Palestine High School Graduation 2022

This year, at Palestine High School, on May 14 2022, the class of 2022 graduated with gratitude this year. During the ceremony, moved to the gym because of a rain forecast, the band played as graduates marched in.  Katie Lanham welcomed her class and their friends and family in her opening remarks. A moving Salutatorian address was given by Gavin Postlewaite, after which Mr Will presented the class and, with Mrs. Sisil’s help, awarded diplomas to all of the graduates.  Krescene Holscher presented the class history and afterwards also received the Pioneer Pride Award. Two Valedictorian addresses were presented by Makinley Bonesteel and Krescene Holscher.  While Chief Besing played a song he wrote especially for Palestine High School graduates, graduates presented yellow roses to their parents and guardians. Mr. Will then announced for them to change their tassels. Following Halle Piper’s closing remarks, the graduates walked out to Chief Besing playing and singing “Country Roads.”

The Marshals were Shara Coffman, Kaden McCormack, Alysa kennedy, and Chance Wilber. The Ushers were Gracey Miller and Jaylee Hyre.

The 2022 Palestine High School graduates were Wesley Carlton Adams, Makinley Shay Bonesteel, Isaiah Rae Coates, Tyler Shane Dennison, Shyan Lynn Dunlap, Evan Robert Easton, Krescene Kayla Holscher, Kieran Angelina Jenkins, Kathryn Olivia Ann Lanham, Rider Jett Lawhorn, Destinee Chaelyn Mahlmeister, Abbagail Nicole Murdock, Halle Elyse Piper, Gavin Leath Potlewaite, Stephanie Joanne Rudd, and Keisha Marie Wiseman.

Those graduating with High Honors were Makinley Bonesteel, Krescene Holscher, Rider Lawhorn, and Gavin Postlewaite.  Graduating with Honors was Halle Piper.
