With the senior send off being yesterday you know what that means, graduation day is close! I hope to see everyone from students to parents there.

Graduation Plans: May 9th-14th

Graduation Practice: May 13th at 9 a.m. (MANDATORY) at the Pavilion- Main Street, Palestine

• Attire: School appropriate clothing
• Pictures: Pictures can be taken before and after the ceremony

Walk of Graduates: After Graduation Practice, Mr.Will will lead the seniors to the grade school to walk down the hallway. The relative time for this procession will be 10 a.m.

Hand Print Painting: Seniors will paint hand prints on the tree near the entrance of the high school door at 10:15 a.m. or directly after the Walk of Graduates.

Graduation Day: May 14th 2022 at 11:00 AM

In the event of rain we will transition graduation to the high school

At 10:40 we will gather in the PHS gym. Parents and supporters are welcome to take pictures in the gym prior to the ceremony). At 11:00 a.m. we will begin our walk from the PHS gym to the Main Street Pavilion. Gradates will enter the Pavilion after walking south on main street from the high school. Families and supporters will be able to set up chairs around the outside of the pavilion, if the chairs are placed in a manner impeding on the ceremony you will be asked to move them. Chairs will be provided to the graduates only. Anything set up early is not a responsibility of the school district.

Attire- Even though it is an outdoor event it is still formal, and students will be expected to dress appropriately. Ties are optional. When choosing footwear, remember no tennis shoes and consider we will be walking from the high school to the pavilion.
