End of Year Information
April 29, 2022
The Class of 2022 only has one week left. I know to some this is a very bittersweet moment, but for me it is all excitement to get outta here.
May 5th will be the Senior Send-Off incentive party. Grades must be good in order to go; otherwise, it will be a study hall for you.
May 6th is the seniors’ last day of school. The seniors will be returning their locks and Chromebooks and will be cleaning out their lockers. If you are not passing, you will be required to go beyond this day.
May 9th is when the seniors will receive their caps and gowns. We are allowed to decorate the caps appropriately. Pick up will be between 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. It is recommended to hang the gown up for a week so it is wrinkle-free for the big day.
May 13th will be graduation practice at 9 a.m. All speeches will be practiced at this time. There will be pictures before and after practice, so dress nice. Seniors will also walk down the hall at the grade school. We will also be painting our handprints on the wall near the front door.
May 14th is the big day. Graduation will be at 11 a.m. held at the Main Street pavilion. It is a “BYOC” or bring your own chair event. There will only be chairs provided for the graduates. If it is raining, the graduation will be moved to the high school gym.
