Hut-Pal Softball Getting it Done

Krescene Holscher, Editor

The Hutsonville-Palestine Lady Tigers have had a successful jump to the season thus far and are only getting started. The girls are currently carrying a 4-1 record and still have a lot of season left to play.

The Tigers are coming off of a 10-2 victory against the Martinsville Bluestreaks this past Wednesday. The highlight of the game came in the bottom of the sixth as Izzy Sheets, a pitcher for the Hut-Pal Tigers, smacked a dinger over the the left field fence.

The Hutsonville-Palestine High School Softball team is scheduled to play their first game across the river in the great state of Indiana tonight. The girls are set to go face to face against the Dugger-Union Bulldogs for another conference game. Tomorrow morning, the team in mean orange and black will travel to Lawrenceville for the Lawrenceville invitational and will play at 11:30 and 1:00.

Here is next week’s schedule:

Tuesday, April 12 – Home against Lawrenceville Indians

Wednesday, April 13 – @ Marshall High School

Friday, April 15 – @ Dieterich High School

Come support your girls; we hope to see a great crowd on Tuesday!
