On Tuesday, March 29, the Kona Ice truck came by  Palestine High School, and Palestine Grade School for all the students to get free snow cones! The school paid for Kona Ice, but PTO helped with the cost.  I know that all of the students enjoyed it.  I personally love Kona Ice. Yes, it is just ice, but you can add some really good flavors to it to make it really good. The top 10 flavors include: Blue Raspberry, Tiger’s Blood, Groovy Grape, Island Rush, Lucky Lime, Monster Mango, Ninja Cherry, Watermelon Wave, Pina Colada, and Strawberry Treasure. I had the Blue Raspberry, which was very good. It wasn’t too sweet, and it tasted perfect. There are about 1200+ franchises across the United States as they all hit the road daily. You are bound to find one since there are more than a thousand trucks in the 48 states. A pretty cool fact that I found out is that they make about $94,000 annually. Obviously, this will vary based on your business expertise and commitment to marketing your brand. It must also be considered that your sales will vary based on the season.
