A company based in Santa Clara California has come up with some exciting new technologies that will definitely impact your life in the near future. Nvidia Corp. specializes in computer graphic cards, but this isn’t what’s making noise in the tech world. They have come up with a new AI computing chip that will speed up workloads from weeks to days. The chip acts as an AI factory, where it processes tons and tons of information and breaks it down to produce intelligence. Their application has a wide range, from using them to make the next video recommendation on YouTube or to making new drug discoveries. They plan to use this chip to build the world’s next fastest supercomputer, which they call “Eos.” Their chips have other plans too.

Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang said, “Software for the automotive market will also be a key driver forward. It is our way to be the next multi-billion-dollar company.” Their self-driving software is already being used in a Chinese electric car company, called BYD Co Ltd, and luxury electric car maker, Lucid Motors, for their next line of cars.

How is this relevant to your life? It may not be relevant today or maybe even next month, but the future is coming. The future is inevitable, and things are bound to change. Imagine a world in the next few years where AI computing systems are dominating how things are calculated. This could lead to discoveries humans could never make by ourselves.
