Pay it Forward: Project Linus

Susan Hyde

Last year’s Pay It Forward group made blankets for Project Linus. These blankets get donated for children who are sick and in the hospital.

The Pay it Forward club is doing Project Linus once again this year. Project Linus is an non-profit organization that provides blankets to children in need. Adults and children alike, all have made blankets for the children in need.

On the 27th, at Palestine High school at 4:30, we will be holding Project Linus. Each person must bring their own fabric to make a blanket.

As you know Project Linus will be helping many families and children. Their goal is to provide love, care ,and a sense of security to children who are seriously ill. They also provide it for kids who have been through certain traumas, to give them a comfort item.

Making these blankets are also a way to have fun in the community. They do it to help people who can barely provide for themselves. Come join us on the 27th, and make some blankets with us and provide for the little kids.
