Tricky Trick-or-Treating
What’s the strangest thing to receive in your goody-bag when trick-or-treating? Is it a pencil and ruler so you can study up, or is it something a little more out there? I went around asking our staff and student body, and some of the answers did not disappoint. Some people have definitely been on the receiving end of some tricks.
Evan Easton’s answer in particular stood out to me. He said that there was once a bowl of scrambled eggs with a spoon sitting on someone’s porch in Vincennes. Katie Lanham got an apple that was missing a bite. I personally remember once receiving a packet of ramen noodles.
Some other tricky treats include: peaches, oranges, apples, toothbrushes, toothpaste, trail mix, raisins, pennies, and a singular carrot.
