As we enter into the later half of October, fall sports are dwindling down to their final games of the season. Here’s a look at the few fall sporting events left:

• Hutsonville-Palestine Volleyball is scheduled to play their final game on Thursday, October 21st in Hutsonville against Dieterich at 6:15 p.m.
• Cross Country competes in Newton on October 19th at 4:30.
• OPH Football’s final game will be on Friday the 22nd in Oblong at 7:00 p.m. This will also be Oblong’s Homecoming and Senior Night Game.

While fall athletes hang up their uniforms, winter athletes start to gear up. OPH Girl’s Basketball will be starting open gyms this week. See Coach Blank for a schedule and/or more information. Their first game is scheduled for November 16th against Robinson.

The Hutsonville-Palestine softball team is also gearing up for the upcoming spring season. They also have plans to begin open gyms this week, along with hitting practices at The Depot in Robinson.
