Movie Review: Copshop
October 5, 2021
Copshop is about a hit-man that is trying to run away from his problems but instead is getting in trouble with the law, getting arrested, and also going to the exact same prison as the guy he was running away from. Then they go on a very very intense journey together with a lot of graphic scenes all throughout the movie.
The director of this movie is Joe Carnahan. The main characters in this movie are Gerard Butler (Viddick), Frank Grillo (Teddy), and Alexis Louder (Valerie Young). This movie is 1 hour and 48 minutes long.
If you like Action/Thriller then you will probably like Copshop. This is a R-rated movie and is extremely graphic, but it makes you wonder what will happen next. It goes to show that you really can’t trust anyone, because even the person you would sacrifice your life to let live might sometimes be the one to betray you or stab you in the back.
Going to watch Copshop was a very good experience.
I decided to go alone, and before I went to watch it I read through the description. I was very intrigued. When I got there, I spent $7 on one ticket, and then I went and sat down. At first the movie was very boring, until the conflict came, and the laughter. Then a police officer was assaulted by a man trying to run away to save his life. He hit her in the face with a bag, and she took him down to the police station for questioning, and the truth finally came out. I was bored until further into the movie, when the conflict had me very intrigued on what was going to happen.
If you are the type of person to be into Action/Thriller or graphic details I would definitely recommend that you go watch Cop Shop. This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while and I am very glad I got to see it.
