Food Trucks on the Wabash

Food trucks lines up along the River Walk feeding hungry visitors

Shyan Dunlap, Editor

Every Monday in Vincennes, Indiana, many people flock near Second Street to eat at the food trucks. Each week there are a variety of food trucks and live music. This week I went to the food trucks on the Wabash with Stephanie Rudd and Justice Christine from Palestine, Nick and David from Robinson, and Vincennes native Kylee. All of the trucks line up along the River Walk while hungry visitors pick the truck they want to eat at. Kylee and I got taco salad, which I’d rate 10/10, although it was quite windy and the last of my taco salad blew away all over Steph. One of the best parts of the event was the view. While the food was amazing, the view of the Wabash and the bridge was stunning. It is easily one of the best places to look and take pictures of the bridge, which is one of my favorite things to look at in Vincennes.

Vincennes native Kylee Reed with both mine and her taco salads. In her defense the sun was in her eyes. Hopefully she doesn’t kill me for this picture.
