The other day my friends and I decided to go try out the Midway Cafe, over near Stoy, Il. When we pulled into the parking lot it was a big tin building. Walking into the doors you are greeted with the waitresses and seated in a nicely kept room that was brightly lit. Taking a glance around the diner, you see a buffet, 2 white boards that tell you the specials and the desserts they have at that time.

Looking at the menu was a whole different story. They had a variety to choose from, from burgers to 28 inch pizzas! My friends and I were overwhelmed by the options to choose from but eventually decided on a 20 inch stuffed crust pizza, with 3 different toppings on it.

While we waited I looked around and noticed the giant Yum sign between the whiteboards and how the doorways are wooden barn door style doors very neat and clean place. There was a little bit of a wait but that is to be expected when ordering a 20 inch pizza. The servers were very nice and made sure we had refills.

When the pizza came out we were not disappointed! This giant pizza was stuffed with plenty of toppings and mounds of cheese to even out the crispy crust that the pizza was cooked on. The pizza was overall amazing and delicious, we definitely had to take some of it home and overall it was a great experience in a new diner!

The Midway Cafe is open Monday-Friday, Monday hours are 5am-1pm, Tuesday-Thursday hours are 5am-9pm and they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. They do take out and dine in and their phone number is 618-590-5001.
