On Tuesday, 21 of our volleyball girls played Marshall. The JV starters were Morgan Knoblett, Lily Holcomb, Lani Sheets, Camri Pruitt, Ahlya Abel, Marissa Woodward, and Ayla Cook. The first set was a nailbiter; the final score was 28-30, with Marshall just scraping together the first win. The second set was 21-25. The hardworking girls played great though, it just didn’t quite go their way.

The varsity starters were Izzy Sheets, Katie Draper, McKenna Love, Gwen Lathrop, Brenna Higgenbothem, and Lyssa Nave. The first set final score was 19-25 and the second set score was 17-25. It was sort of an “off” night for varsity. Their downfall was poor communication and bad passing; the serving also could’ve been better. However, these girls always work extremely hard and never quit. They look to bounce back next game, today against Vincennes Rivet at home. The game starts at 5:15.
