Alternate vehicle day

Wednesday, September 22, is alternate vehicle day for all the students that can drive as well as the staff. Any alternate vehicle can be a scooter, golf cart, tractors, Semis, side by side, and many others. It is supposed to be a fun day to drive something that you normally wouldn’t drive to school, but it is also for awareness of bigger utility vehicles. Big trucks have different blind spots from smaller cars and it is harder to drive them, so we all went outside to learn that as well as it takes about a whole football field to come to a complete stop in them. Cody York drove a tractor, Elliott Meadows drove his little four-wheeler, Gracie Miller and Dannika Fulling drove scooters, and Stephanie Rudd drove a backhoe.
