Meet the Staff: Ms. Wagoner!
August 30, 2021
As you may have noticed, there are several new teachers here at Palestine High School this year. This is something many of us are not used to, as we typically come back to school each August and see the same familiar faces we left in May. One of our new staff members is Ms. Wagoner, our new mental health specialist who, much like Mrs. Will, splits her time between the grade school and high school.
Ms. Wagoner graduated from Palestine High School in 2011 and went on to Lincoln Trail College where she graduated two years later. She then transferred to the University of Southern Indiana. It was here where Ms. Wagoner got her Bachelor’s in Social Work before taking a year off. She then returned to USI and graduated in 2019 with a Master’s of Social Work.
When asked why she chose to go into the mental health field, Ms. Wagoner said, “I like to help people and all of the varieties of populations and settings I could work in.”
In her free time, Ms. Wagoner likes to hang out with her fiancé, Bradley, play with their cat Andy, and, of course, spoil her niece Keyleigh and nephew Trace. Ms. Wagoner also said, “I am excited to be back at PGS/PHS as a Pioneer!”
