A new thing in the feature section of the paper this year is a “sports spotlight”. The first one is about football and Weston Benton was the lucky one picked!

 Weston Benton is a senior and this is his first year playing for OPH being a left guard. Weston hasn’t played football since 8th grade because of the injuries he had and he didn’t have the drive to play after that. 

 When asked about how he felt about their first game against Macon Meridian, Weston said “that it was not good at all and he knows they could’ve done better.”

Weston is excited for his first year with OPH and he is ready to win tonight.  Weston does not find it harder working with a different team.
