Katie Lanham has not missed a dance since she started junior high. It looks like this year won’t be much different.

School has just started but a lot of girls, including Katie, already have their dresses.  And it’s a good thing.  This magical time is coming up quickly this year. The PHS Homecoming dance will be on September 14 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Katie, like many PHS students has not just been to all of our dances; she has also been to Homecoming dances at other schools, including Marshall, but naturally, she is somewhat partial to Palestine’s.

“My favorite part of any Palestine High School dance is when everyone joins in a circle at the end and dances to “I Got Friends in Low Places.”

Coronation this year will be on the football field at the Homecoming game during halftime on September 13.

PHS students bringing a date from another school to the dance need to pick up a form outside of the main office.
