This week’s sophomore spotlight is Marissa Lanham. Marissa has not always gone to Palestine. She has also gone to school in Casey and Robinson. Marissa is involved in many sports such as Cross Country, Basketball, Scholastic Bowl, and Track. She is also involved in Drama Club, Pay It Forward, FCA, and 4-H. Marissa’s favorite class is Biology with Mr. Smith. Marissa’s favorite thing about this high school year was the bonfire at the beginning of the year. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Smith because he teaches her favorite subject. Her favorite band is My Chemical Romance and her favorite song by them is “Teenagers.” Her favorite TV show is “Bones” and her favorite movie is ” Smokey and the Bandit.”
