Brennen Burkett is a junior, star baseball player, and a high honors student at Palestine High School.  Mr. Burkett has been attending Palestine his whole life and said, “Palestine is the best school in the county.”

The only sport Brennen plays and does it very well is baseball; he leads the conference in homeruns. He doesn’t just do sports, though; Brennen is also a part of Math Team, WYSE Team, and Environthon. History class and P.E. just so happen to be his favorite classes so far.

His after high school dreams are to become a college baseball player while working on his generals at one of the IECC colleges.

High school is all about making memories and some of his favorite moments in high school include, “the bus rides to baseball games, baseball games, and attending other sporting events with my friends.”

In his free time, he enjoys mowing for his personal mowing business and practicing baseball. Brennen is a big fan of classic rock and his favorite band is The Rolling Stones. His favorite movie is between “American Gangster” or ‘The Highwaymen”.
