St. Louis Field Trip

The junior class took a field trip with Ms. Cutright to St. Louis for our U.S. history class. We have just begun studying World War 2 and the Holocaust. When we arrived at the museum it looked a lot bigger than it was. Our tour guide’s name was Irl and he was very nice to our class.  He also knew tons about WW2, considering he has been working there for 17 years. The tour had different sections that explained different parts of the Holocaust. It lasted a total of about 40 minutes then we went into another room to listen to another man talk. That man was what they called a second generation survivor; his grandmother was in the Holocaust and then moved to St. Louis. He talked about his family and his grandmother’s struggle during this time. This field trip was a very fun and educational experience.
