On Monday, April 15, the Lady Tigers hosted the Lady Panthers for the annual Shrine game. Neither team scored in the first inning, but both teams scored one run a piece in the second and third innings. The Lady Tigers fell apart in the fourth inning and allowed four more runs for the Lady Panthers. The Lady Tigers scored two more runs in the fifth inning and none for the Lady Panthers. In the sixth inning, the Lady Panthers scored another run, and again in the seventh. The final score was 8-4, Lady Panthers taking the Shrine trophy. The Lady Tigers play Wednesday, April 17 at home against Heritage, JV will play at Newton Thursday, April 18, and Varsity will play again Friday, April 19 at home against Martinsville.
