On March 16, some of the members of the track team went to Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.  The members included Chase Knoblett, Nathan More, Nick Booth, and Blaze Dedrick.  Chase competed in the 60m hurdles were he finished 6th and also did the 400m were he finished 10th.  He was able to finish top 24 in the state which qualified him for state which will be the 22nd.  Nathan ran the 800m and 1600m were he ran 2:18 and 5:21 which weren’t the results he wanted but is a decent start for the year.  Nick competed in long jump were he finished 5th, which is great for how competitive it was.  He also finished the 60m race in 11th place.  Blaze got to compete at his first indoor meet and did the 60 and 200m.  He finished middle of the pack on both and has showed progress for future meets.
