This week’s freshman spotlight is Isaiah Coates. When Isaiah first started high school, he said, “I was a little nervous at first, but the first day or two went by, and it felt just like junior high.” He does not participate in any sports, clubs, or activities. Isaiah’s favorite part of school is the end of the day because he has Art and thinks it is great.  His favorite subject is art because he enjoys drawing. In his freetime he is finishing his homework or is on his phone. Isaiah’s favorite teacher is Mr. Smith, he said, “because I’ve known him since I was 8.”
