Sophomore Spotlight: Kegan Cooper
March 11, 2019
Kegan Cooper is a 16 year old PHS sophomore. He just recently got his license and he can’t be happier. Kegan plays baseball and basketball. He has two siblings, one who is older than him and one who is much younger.
After high school Kegan plans to go to college for engineering at ISU. He enjoys playing sports with his friends and playing video games. I asked Kegan what his favorite memory of the basketball season was and he said, “It would have to be when Gavin Beesing dunked for first time but on the opposite basket.” Kegan also said that he had a lot of fun this season in basketball and he thinks that next year they won’t be as good. “We’re losing a lot of good seniors and I don’t think we’ll be gaining those players back from freshmen”. I also asked Kegan what his favorite memory from sophomore year was and he said, “It was when we went to Chicago for chemistry class, I had a lot of fun.” He said he was looking forward to next year because he is going to be an upperclassman.
