On February 2, Palestine High School tried a brand new idea: the Winter Ball. This was the first year Palestine has ever done this. There wasn’t as many people who showed up as there were for Homecoming, but many people think it was simply because this was such a new idea. Students were very impressed with the D.J. that was provided and ¨the refreshments were delightful,¨ according to senior Dallas Kidwell. Student Senate wasn’t sure if this would be a good idea since we already have two dances, but enough people wanted it to happen. Sources say they will try this dance again next year and they are confident they will have an even better outcome!
