This week’s senior spotlight is Mackenzie Myers. Mackenzie’s plan for the future is to go to Senco and become a hole watch/fire watch and just save as much money as she can to go on a marvelous vacation. The things that Mackenzie was looking forward to for her senior year were Jag Day, her last prom, and graduation, although she said, “Graduation mainly, because I am ready to start my life!”

She does not participate in any sports, clubs, or other activities. Mackenzie’s favorite subject is math. She said, “I don’t know why it is, it just comes natural to me and becomes easy for me to do.” Mrs. Hyde is Mackenzie’s favorite teacher, Mackenzie said, “Not only is she my neighbor but she has reached out a helping hand when needed and helped me get out of going out a bad road.” Mackenzie’s favorite part of senior year so far is taking pictures of everything, she said, “because it’s the last time any of this will happen.” In Mackenzie’s free time she spends time with her boyfriend. Mackenzie’s advice for the freshman is do not mess around or think its a joke. She said, “I messed around my freshman and sophomore year and now during my senior year, I am having to work twice as hard. Get your stuff together and get it done.”
