This week’s freshman spotlight is Rider Lawhorn. Rider has been involved in basketball during his first year in high school, playing as a forward for the Tigers. His favorite part of high school is the amount of freedom that they didn’t have in grade school. He also says that it is more fun and less boring as well. Rider’s favorite subject and teacher would have to be biology and Mr. Will. The journalism class wishes Rider the best of luck as he finishes out his freshman year.
