“Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc” directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara is a movie continuation of the first 12 episodes of “Chainsaw Man”. The movie came out last week Thursday, October 23, 2025. I read “Chainsaw Man” forever ago and had been patiently waiting for this movie to come out for about two years. Anticipation grew after every trailer that came out, my expectations growing with each and every new frame of animation. My hype was burning like the infernal hatred of a prisoner of hell.
This movie was one of the greatest animated films of this decade; nothing else comes close to its splendor. Every scene from the manga has been amplified ten fold; From the voice acting to the fluid animation, it made the story everything I’ve ever wanted for an animated adaptation of “Chainsaw Man”. The most standout part however, was the music composed by Kensuke Ushio. His music made the film explode with different emotions, that curated a unique feeling that you can only really get while watching the film in theatres.
As a “Chainsaw Man” fan I might have a bit of a bias but, I know for sure that this movie was near perfect at what it is. I really recommend watching “Chainsaw Man” and this movie. I bequeath unto it an extraordinarily high honor, I give it a 10/10
