Fall sports are officially over for volleyball, football, and cross country. These teams had their ups and downs and all played very hard.
Volleyball went 8-21 for the year, football went 0-9, and cross country had a good year with quite a few good finishes. All of the people I have talked to said that they are very proud of their teams and how they preformed this season with many adversities faced over this year. Football faced a lot of injuries, volleyball faced a lot of injuries, and cross country with lack of numbers. In a short, to the Pioneers, we are all proud of you and way to fight till the end. Go Pioneers.
The next sports coming up are boys basketball, girls basketball, and wrestling. We are all excited for the winter sports this year. I personally am excited for basketball this year and so are a lot of other people. These teams have been putting a lot of work this off season, getting ready. Both basketballs have had open gyms and are having good numbers. Same thing for wrestling. Wrestling has been one of the top sports OPH has to offer, having the best records and best numbers, so it will be an exciting winter sports season. Go Wildcats!
