As of last week, the Pal-Hut Pioneers season is over. The Pioneers played their last game against the South Fork Ponies and played their best games yet this year, putting up the most points any team has against the Ponies.
South Fork is ranked the number 2 in the state, and they have a running back that broke the all time school record and the all time state record for rushing yards. The Pioneers put up 42 points on the ponies.
The Pioneers new that it was going to be fight until the end against this team. The Pioneers fought the whole way through the game and left everything out on the field.
This was the last game for these following seniors: Avry Monti, Issac Weaver, and Owen Griffin. The men played a very hard game and left it all on the field. I know for a fact I have no what if’s about that game, and I played as hard as I humanly could.
I could personally never be more proud of this team. A lot of the guys on the team were not in the right condition for this game, but they all said “I will play my heart out for the seniors,” and that is what they did. They fought until the end and competed with the Ponies.
