On September 24th an event deeply important to the community occurred. It can only be described as horrific and frightening. It took place in the weight room and there were very few witnesses. The camera footage has yet to be released as of October 6th, but luckily for you, dear reader, the victim of the event has come to share their side of the story.
Justin described the event as terrifying. “Isaac was in the weight room and he had this maniacal grin on his face” he then went on to say “he grabbed the 14 pound medicine ball” and then in the final moment “he threw the ball full force at his face” He did not want to provide any further information.
This account truly shows how affected Justin is from this travesty. Isaac has decided not to comment on the event in the same way Justin has. This reveals a very true problem in our area as well. The medicine ball had been left out when Isaac saw it. Not picking up after ourselves is a very real problem, and can cause lots of problems. If that ball had not been there it is very likely that the event would have never occurred. I believe that if people learn to better clean up their things would be much better in the long run.
While Isaac may have thrown the ball at Justin, there was no way he could have known what would happen as it was just seen as a friendly game. The one simple fact that the ball was left in a tempting position is the true reason the events took place. This leads to the simple conclusion that we should pick up after ourselves.
