In the 2025 College football season has kickoff strong for the Indiana Hoosiers. The Hoosiers have started there season off great with a 5-0 record. The Hoosiers stared off the season with being the 20th ranked in college football. The Hoosiers last year made it to the playoffs but ended up losing in the first round, so maybe they can turn things around this year and make it farther in the playoffs.
The Indiana Hoosiers started off their opener against Old Dominion, with also having their star quarterback Fernando Mendoza had his debut. The Hoosiers played great even though they had a great game they also had some flaws to work on in the next. They ended up winning against Old Dominion 27-14, a great win to start off the year. In the next game there was the same results, but played even better. The Hoosiers went on to destroy Kennesaw State 56-9 with Fernando Mendoza with 4 Touchdown passes. Indiana was now back at home at Bloomington Indiana, with Indiana state coming to them. The Hoosiers were on fire that night, with absolutely beating the breaks of the Sycamores 73-0. With this win extended there winning streak, with being 3-0. Now with a highly anticipated game, The Indiana Hoosiers(19) VS Illinois Fighting Illini(9). The game started off with both teams scoring very easily, but out of nowhere the Hoosiers flipped the switch and ended putting the Illini away at halftime. The Hoosiers went on to beat the Illini 63-10. After this win put the Hoosiers at the 11th ranked in college football, with them being 4-0. Indiana now had to go the Iowa Hawkeyes house. This game was not how the Hoosiers were gonna expect it to go with both teams playing very good, with game being very tight all the way to end. The Hoosiers had to dig deep to pull this one off. They 100% pulled this one off with them winning at the end with the Hoosiers quarterback throwing a 49-yard touchdown pass to Elijah Sarratt to put them up 20-15. This was a huge win for the Indiana Hoosiers extending there winning streak to 5-0.
The Hoosiers are looking great this year, they are firing on all cylinders. They are putting everything together at the right times, and getting the best results.
