This year’s CEO Trade Show was on April 30th. We are lucky enough to have two students within the CEO class, Autumn Taylor and Greyson Holscher. The trade show took place at The Woods Event Center 4 pm to 7 pm. Each student of the CEO class had to come up with a business idea for the trade show where they would sell products or services. They had to plan out the business, make products, and fully fund their business.
Autumn created a candle-making business and had to make 80 candles and several air fresheners and wax melts to have on hand during the trade show. She has been selling her products online for several months. She calls her business Light in the Dark; her goal was to make eco-friendly candles, car fresheners, and wax melts to bring light into people’s lives.
Greyson, instead of selling objects like Autumn, sold roadside repair services. Greyson wants to be a go-to and fast service for the people of Crawford County. His goal is to be able to get people back on the road as quickly and safely as possible.
Both of Palestine’s CEO students worked hard on preparing for the trade show and putting together these businesses. I believe that they both did amazing jobs!
