There are some big changes in the works for the upcoming school year.

The first big changes are still just possibilities.  The administration is CONSIDERING giving all students the same lunch period instead of having two.  They are also CONSIDERING giving students off campus privileges everyday. This would help students have a more variety of things to do at lunch, instead of just sitting in the cafeteria the entire time.  Both of these are still not decided, but both are exciting to consider.

Another big change that IS happening is that WIN, our current activity period and study hall, is moving to the end of the day instead of before lunch. This will help athletes that have to leave early for games, matches, and meets not to miss as much class time. WIN being before lunch now has caused athletes to miss 1-2 classes at the end of the day because of their sporting events they have to leave for.

The last major change is that there will be two new teachers for English and Family and Consumer Science. At the last board meeting, Vidilia Kuhl was hired as the new English teacher, and Jaleena Hemrich was hired to be the new Family and Consumer Science teacher. There will also be a new Biology teacher to replace Mrs. Yager, but that position has not been filled yet.
