The whole month of March was filled with exciting and fun games throughout the March Madness basketball tournament. Many upsets during the thrilling games of March Madness led to the Championship game.

The two teams that made their runs to the Championship were Houston and Florida. Florida beat Auburn in the Final Four, and Houston beat Duke in the Final Four to lead to this exciting match up. Florida had also beaten the defending champs, UConn, in March Madness the last two years. Houston beat Duke to get to the championship, and that was an upset to a lot of people because many had Duke winning it all.

The game between Florida and Houston started off slow. Because this game was played in a football stadium, the court felt larger when they were playing on it. This game came down to the final play, when Houston had the ball and a player was dribbling it at the top of the key and pump faked and accidentally lost it, but couldn’t dribble or it was a double dribble. This led to Florida stealing the ball and sealing their win.
