Callum Roeder
Callum Roeder

Callum Roeder is a senior at Palestine high school.

His favorite high school experience was being able to participate in OPH basketball all four years.

His least favorite high school experience was when he had to ride the elevator when he broke his foot. Being both claustrophic and fearful of elevators breaking down, the experience was worse than the broken foot!

The biggest lesson Callum has learned throughout his high school career is: “Do it, and focus on your future while having fun.”

Callum’s goals have changed quite a bit. Now he is actually focusing on his future, doing the work while still having fun.

In 10 years he is hoping that he is going to be really successful.

Callum also had a few words to say to our upcoming freshman: “Don’t spend too long messing around and then just have one year to focus on grades and what you wanna do in the future.”

Holden Sipes is a senior at Palestine high school.

His favorite high school experience was going on the New York trip the end of his sophomore year.

His least favorite high school experience is being in class with Callum.

The biggest lesson Holden has learned throughout his high school career is: “Always make time for your work and yourself.”

Holden’s goals have changed just a bit too. He has matured a lot, focused on his future and what it holds mainly.

In the next 10 years he is hoping he has a nice job and his own home, and hopes to have a kid or two by then as well.

He also had a few words to say to our upcoming freshman next year: “Don’t overwork yourself. Stay positive.”
