The OPH boys played their second game against Mt. Carmel at Mt. Carmel on Tuesday March 18th.
The OPH boys were batting first while Mt. Carmel pitched first. The OPH boys started off the game with some good hits and getting some walks, which helped them to a 4-0 lead.
Mt. Carmel started off slow missing ground balls and not throwing strikes which lead to walks and free bases. OPH then went up to pitch with Rowan Bailey pitching, still starting off good from their last at bat. Mt. Carmel then started to find a groove and put up 3 runs of their own. OPH started to struggle with hitting in the open spaces on the field and didn’t score a run for the rest of the game. Mt. Carmel found their groove and from that point on they were the more dominant team. Aaron Johnson would pitch for the last few innings but ultimately it wasn’t enough with Mt. Carmel hitting a home run to seal the game.
