We’ve all heard of March Madness, the NCAA college basketball competition. But, have you ever heard of March Mammal Madness?
This bracket was put together by Arizona State University’s Professor Anne Stone and her genetics team. The brackets are divided into four divisions, this years divisions were Same and Different (animals from different lineages but with the same traits), The Only Ones (animals that are the last or only living species of their Genus), Roots and Relicts (animals that have endured for millions of years, nearly unchanged), and Tuxedo Style (animals that are monochromatic, showing ranges of the color grey).
