The Lincoln Trail Art Show was an outstanding experience for both aspiring artists and those who simply appreciate art. This year’s event featured a special guest speaker, award-winning graphic designer Samantha Tableriou, who shared valuable insights into the world of graphic design. She spoke to students and faculty about her career, explaining what it takes to become a successful graphic designer and the skills required in the industry. Students from six counties had the opportunity to showcase their artwork, vote for their favorites, and draw inspiration from one another. Beyond the competition, the event fostered meaningful connections, allowing young artists to bond over their shared passion and exchange creative ideas. As one of the participating artists, I found this experience both fun and eye-opening. It gave me a fresh perspective on the vast world of art and the incredible creativity that surrounds me. The Lincoln Trail Art Show was not only an exhibition but also a celebration of artistic expression, learning, and community.
One of our students, Atlas Clapp, was awarded the People’s Choice award, where he tied with six different schools that came and participated. Congratulations Atlas!
