On Saturday, February 22nd, Duke traveled to Illinois to play them in men’s college basketball.

Illinois was off to a solid start to begin their season, but as the season’s gone on, though, they’ve gotten a little inconsistent and have won some and lost some.

Illinois was looking to get back on track with this match up against the high ranked number 3, Duke. Unfortunately, Illinois didn’t start off the greatest in the first half, and they also got blown out in the second half as well, leading to them losing this game by a lot; the final score was 110-67.

Illinois did not shoot the greatest in this contest either, shooting 23-61 from the field, and a whole 2-26 from three. In the games they’ve played this season, this is, by far, their worst performance. Duke shot tremendously better, shooting 40-72 from the field and 12-23 from three. On the rebounding side of things, Duke also had the lead with 44 rebounds to Illinois having 30.
