Earlier this week, Scholastic Bowl had a game. You would think after the success the team has faced during more recent games, the outcomes would favor them.
That unfortunately didn’t happen. They lost both games that night pretty hard.
Faced with the challenge of a varsity member leaving, and the replacement having to work, as well as more of the team not showing up, the odds were already low for the Scholastic Bowl team. They tried to stick through until the end, and that they did. But they didn’t get very high scores.
The odds were low for the team, and they wanted to prove they could do well, even with unfavorable circumstances, but fate had other plans as they were shut down by the two teams they went up against that fateful night.
