On Friday, February 14th, the OPH Boys basketball team traveled to Neoga.
The JV team started off solid in their game, playing well throughout the majority of it. They ended up losing this in the end, with a really close, heartbreaking loss. They played their hardest, but were getting hit and fouled left and right with some of these fouls getting missed and going unnoticed.
The Varsity game followed and they came in with a slow, but well managed start. This put them in position to win, and they were up at halftime. In the second half, they started to pick it up more, get a run on points, and stopped the other team from scoring. They also did a great job of grabbing rebounds after the other team would miss a shot to get the ball back. In the end, OPH ended up winning this hard-fought game with an ending score of 50-38. The OPH Boys basketball team is now 9-14.
