Alix Bennett is a senior at Palestine high school.
His favorite high school experience is when the Drama Club would host after parties back when they had them.
His least favorite high school experience was his whole freshman year; he said he really struggled throughout that year.
The biggest lesson Alix has learned is: “People are going to judge you, no matter what, so I gotta live for myself.”
Alix was unsure of what he wanted to do as a freshman, and now he has it all planned for the most part.
In 10 years he is hoping he will have a job for the National Park Service as a zoologist.
He also had a few words to say to our upcoming freshmen next year as well. He said: “Someone’s going to judge you, no matter what, so don’t forget that you are living your life, not theirs.”

Atlas Clapp is a senior at Palestine high school after having moved from Robinson High School to Palestine this year.
His favorite high school experience is when he went on a trip to Memphis, Tennessee with the Robinson High School band.
His least favorite high school experience is when he had to take SAT’s; he really disliked having to take the SAT’s.
Atlas’s biggest lesson he learned this year is: “I will enjoy what I enjoy because I like it and I know it doesn’t hurt anybody. It shouldn’t matter what others think about my own interest.”
Atlas goals have changed A LOT. He has gone from wanting to do music as a career, to wanting to go into the medical field, to setting his sights on archaeology.
In 10 years he is hopeful that he is finding cool artifacts as he travels to all the cool places in the world.
Atlas also had a few words to say to out upcoming freshmen next year: “Don’t be mean. You never know how someone is feeling or what they’re going through. You don’t want to add on to their bad experiences because you want a quick laugh.”
