Last Tuesday, February 4, the OPH boys basketball team traveled to Red Hill. They played both JV and varsity. This game was senior night for Red Hill’s cheerleaders. The JV game was a tough game to play and they ended up losing 13-40. The boys shot many shots but after a week without any games, their shots weren’t falling through. The varsity boys went into the game with Red Hill and were neck in neck until the third quarter. The score at half time was 41-41. The boys came out of the locker room ready to give it their all but ended up falling short by 18 points. They played their all but, once again, their shots were not falling through. There were many great plays and baskets scored but it wasn’t enough to take the lead. The final score of the game ended up being 74-56. The OPH boys basketball plays next in the LOVC tournament Saturday, February 8 in Martinsville. Their record is now 6-13.
