On Tuesday, December 17th OPH played at home at Oblong against the Marshall Lions.
They started the game off strong with a relatively good lead and run in the beginning. This was a game of runs. On each team’s runs, the other team would come right back and match it. So, the score was always close throughout most of the game.
Early into the first quarter of the game, Riley Blank came down after grabbing a rebound and rolled his ankle. He tried walking on it, but couldn’t. So he was subbed out and went back to the locker room; he eventually tried to come back, moving around and walking on it, but it ended up being too painful for him to return.
The rest of the game was close, making it a tight game going into the 4th quarter. They battled as a unit and together, until the end. Marshall started knocking down shots late in the 4th, and OPH would tie it, but ended up coming up short, in the end. The final score of this game was 58-49, resulting in another OPH loss. OPH is now 1-6.
